There are problems behind energy overconsumption; one is that it will ruin the environment. This change is particularly hampering the economic growth in underdeveloped countries whose development heavily relies on the resources they may no longer be able to afford.

Despite the numerous problems related to energy use, workable solutions exist. Firstly, to mitigate resource depletion, the government should introduce how detrimental the energy crisis is by media coverage. In this way, there will be a trend where, for example, the use of plastic and the disposal of things are seen as indecent, and resultingly, more resources will be saved. Secondly, it is a vital step to switch from non-renewable energies to alternative clean and renewable energies. With a proper budget permitted to develop renewable energy, scientists will be able to harness atomic, solar, and wind energy, with which the reliance on fossil ones can be reduced.
