a misbehaved child
Describe a child who behaved badly in public.
You should say:
When it happened
Where it happened
What the child did
And explain how you felt about it
Sometimes children can be very difficult to get along with, simply because they misbehave. Now I have an example of such a child.
A couple of weeks ago, I was taking a walk on the beach in the afternoon. Many children went to the beach with their grandparents for fun too. While I was just wandering, I noticed a boy bullying a little girl. It seemed that they were building a sand castle, but the boy just grabbed some sand and threw at the girl. What I couldn’t understand was that the boy’s grandma just watched the whole thing, but didn’t do anything to stop the boy. As a result, the girl started crying, and her mother came, so a fight happened between the girl’s mother and the boy’s grandma.
The boy didn’t realize his misbehavior at all, because he was laughing all the way through the fight. It made me really speechless because it’s just so typical of some little children and their grandparents. The elder was so partial to their grandchildren that they always thought it wasn’t a big deal. They never thought either they themselves or their grandchildren were at fault.
To improve the situation, I think grandparents should be strict with their children. They should know that it is wrong to try to cover their grandchildren’s mistakes. Meanwhile, children who misbehave should get disciplined. It will only make matters worse to spoil them.
